We don’t normally talk about things like this but we have been overwhelmed by spam emails from Insight Care Magazine and after basic research, have found that it seems like a scam. Nobody seems to be raising concerns so we wanted to do it ourselves. They have 12.5k followers on Social Media but at most any of their posts are liked in the teens. Most have no likes at all. It seems like the business plan is to pinpoint the CEO, shower them with ‘You’ve won an award for being amazing’ to make them feel good and then offer them a front cover in their “magazine”. I have no problem with this. A fool and their money are easily parted. My issue is that even after multiple requests to remove from their crappy emails, they still email me.
Here are some reviews:
“Total scam. Spamming all email addresses they can find and don’t have any way to unsubscribe. None of the ‘Staff’ (Steve, Albert, Mike, etc) exist with a simple Google. Huge ‘following’ on social media with no interaction. Fake followers, fake staff… avoid.”
“Reviews everywhere get faked by them. It’s the same here, they don’t even try to hide it. There’s a reason why their mails go to spam directly.”
“This is a complete SCAM publication. Every month we get an email stating our company has been shortlisted for some award and ask us to pay nominal charges $2000. According to me, this magazine is a small fry and non-realistic. Their website has poor content, no social presence less traffic mostly from India. Insight Success is selling paid influence by selling the awards. AWARDS are not purchased, its gained.”
My suggestion is if you are a CEO or a marketing manager who has been assigned getting information for this amazing magazine that your boss has sign up for… please do your research. Basic research will tumble this scam house of cards.
